Walsham Nasal Septum Forceps tubing clamp clog-resistant suctionThe Walsham forceps is used for closed reduction of fracture nasal bones. One lip of the forceps is guarded with a rubber sleeve in order to prevent injury to skin overlying the nasal bone. During the process of reduction the forceps is inserted into the nasal cavity in such a way that its guarded lip is outside and its other lip lies underneath the nasal bone. The fractured nasal bone is dis impacted and re positioned.
