This particular example was produced in the United States in the 2000s. The rug is comprised of New Zealand wool with cotton backing and was hand tufted. There are two rugs from this style and manufacturer. It appears that it was originally 18ft long, but was later professionally split up into two rugs. The rug measures 143 inches long, 43 inches wide, and about . 75 inches thick.
