Sold (1930) Label 2 Corky £145 8ins Label Before labelsCorky" is such a fine old chap. English in origin, he is an early Merrythought bear dating to the 1930's. Although Merrythought dates back to the late 1800's, they didn't start making their bears until 1930. Corky is one of their early bears, still with original early label on his foot. Wonderful smiley face with glass eyes and embroidery nose and mouth and big ears. He still retains his original felt paw pads. Web stitching claws intact, label is
