In November 2009 I headed to La Jolla

I changed my focus to the road I was parked along as I photographed some of the traffic which was passing by me

On my final day in Quebec City it was a nice clear day which allowed me to have a constant background but also position the sun to allow it to show just a little bit behind one of the umbrellas

With just some clouds in the sky the stars are visible as they begin to show their motion with this length of exposure

In the fall of 2012 I went to Sloans Lake to photograph at sunrise since it is the time of year the sun will rise directly over the city

Water on a Whale Sculpture Size:20"x30" In November 2009 I headedIn the past couple of years a new sculpture has been added in Juneau, Alaska. The whale sculpture is not too far from downtown and for those coming to visit by cruise ship could be 0. 5 1 mile away. Around every 15 minutes the water feature of the sculpture starts which adds the effect the whale is jumping out of the water which is around it in the park.
