Wall of Water Size:Ed 19-27 Smith College Museum of ArtIn Wall of Water Robin Rhode has created one of his arresting narratives. The compelling photograph depicts a character, dressed in a white doctors coat, placing a stethoscope against the walls surface below a painted water droplet. This spontaneous act implies that the wall embodies life like qualities, such as a heartbeat, and the characters ears are filled with the sound of the water drop. In addition, as with many of Rhodes photographs, the
