This semi abstract piece spent most of its early development flipped 180 degrees and looked more like a mountain range than a Phoenix

and maybe that will still happen one day but for now there is just this one painting

After about another 30 days I was able to finish this portrait around the same time I finished the forty day period of working with his mantra

I went to the local lumber yard and built this big 48x60 inch board at the shop. I wanted to take full advantage of the setting, where it didnt matter if I spilled buckets of paint on the floor and splashed it across the walls. I wanted to paint like a true maniac and thats what I did here with this abstract
